I was so excited this morning when I got on the scales to see that I had yet another few pounds of weight loss. I was actually tempted to not even get on the scales simply because I had really overindulged this past weekend with it being my birthday and I felt sure there would be anything but a weight loss. Obviously I was wrong, and this is one of those times when I was more than happy to be wrong. I’ve been making sure that in spite of not eating the best this past weekend that I still drank plenty of water and I feel sure that is part of why there was a weight loss on the scales this week. I’ve also been diligent about taking the vitamins that I ordered online, so I feel sure that also played a role in the weight loss. Either way, I’m happy that the scales showed a loss. I’m back on track with making healthier choices now that my birthday has come and gone, plus I plan to get back to my 5k training. If I ever plan to run that race this fall, I’d better get with it.
