vitamin b12

A few days ago I decided to go to the doctor because I’d been feeling so tired and he was concerned that I may have a vitamin b12 deficiency.  He sent me over to the lab to get some blood work done and asked if I’d been getting enough foods that were rich in vitamin b12.  I explained that I really felt that I had been, because I eat well and make sure that I have enough fruit in my diet, but he said he felt better doing the blood work to check to see if my vitamin b12 was at the levels it was supposed to be.  He said if it wasn’t then we could start taking supplements to boost my levels.

Yesterday afternoon his nurse called me to say that my vitamin b12 levels were a little lower than they should be, so she suggested that I start taking a supplement.  She said that I could get them anywhere I wanted, but that she personally gets all her supplements online because the prices are better.   I thanked her, and immediately went online and ordered some.   Once they arrive, I’ll start building my b12 levels again, but in the meantime, it’s more fruits and veggies for me.
